Firstly the bad by next Monday I will have a good 70% of the total University work done (This semester anyway) but the last 30% is not going to be that easy.

The good is Christmas is coming, now I honestly and truly hate Christmas the whole hype and craziness over a single religious holiday is a joke. But I don’t care about all that I just want the time off to rest catch up on games from 2 years ago along with all the new ones.

Sounds like a plan but the holiday will be tainted by my university project… bleh well at least I can stay in bed late and just do a bit here and there. Should hopefully be able to actually recharge for a change.

On that note I will have to spent a few days sorting out my music collection its currently fubar so that means hours and hours of ripped, tagging and downloading in some cases. WMP states 582 hours but i know that’s wrong cause most of the tracks don’t even report there track length anymore so 12,000 Tracks seems a better representation(12,000 4 min tracks is 800 hours).

and speaking of Fubar I need to rebuild my Foobar. its getting there its going to take a while though

This version is still missing a lot of features and colour scheme, such as no lyrics or search and even the correct playlist layout. Though I have used this opportunity to change a few bits like album art but I’ll finish it another time. oh and I’ve already started writing my plugin for better playlist support but that probably going to have to wait until the new year.

Also you may notice a lot of those tracks are in 192kbps! Now that’s another reason to rip them again most of my tracks have been reripped into flac but there’s still a lot of tracks at below 320kbps 48khz which kind of annoys me (depends on the track).

but for now Its back to WMP for lack of any alternative.

you can make you own foobar as well just download Foobar 2000 and get modding and if you can be bothered there a few preinstalled setups and there are loads of plugins written by the community and even a few remade setups you can probably download. Though its only for the people who really want 100% control over there music and have the time to set it all up.

It can also be used to sync your iphone or ipod as well as stream to 360 and PS3 and everything else there’s even a milkdrop extension (project visualisation used un winamp)

And on another note here is my wonderful iCute case (nothing to do with Apple) well its not so wonderful because it just the case lol and I’ve had it for nearly 2 months I should really get round to building it. Well here’s a lovely shot of the case very black and boring (USB port’s are on the top of the case, how odd…)

Here’s a nice front shot of the case with it beast of a fan at the bottom (with blue LED’s) looks more like a speaker lol.

And here a shot of the window complete with plastic film and two nice blue LED’s fan and fan guards and its still got all the bits and bobs in side including the feet (why does a case need feet its not like its going walk off is it???. and surely it would increase noise?)

Well I suppose that it for today not very interesting I know but it might help me get my ass into gear and build my comp.

It was a really good night even though I didn’t get back until 2am !!! (I had to be up for work at 4:30) and the food was good even though it was Chinese (strange Christmas dinner…). yea anyway on another note Happy 19th Birthday Day Joel and I liked your early birthday CHESSE cake lol.

OH how pretty lol.

Oh and another amazing thing I found out last night was Matt and Alisha are getting married and going back to Canada next week!!!! I need to get some money together if I want go to there wedding (and he only 19! is he mad).
