Money saving :D

I hope anyway

well since I’m now back at uni and lacking cash big time, since I’m still waiting for my loan… (I can only hope I get it before Christmas) so no new games or new shiny things for me.

But saying that I’m going to be lacking the time to play them anyway but hey there gonna be a few hours here and there that I’m gonna need to fill. so here’s the plan and its a nice simple one really.

Now you all know about these rental services that allow you to rent films though the post of X amount a month? well these services have been around of games as well but I’ve never been that bothered about them before normally because the good old 2 for £20 at gamestation and the odd full price game here and there.

so any normal person would just say forget it no more games until I finish uni or until I get my loan, nah forget that. so plan B is rent games!!! (last time I rented a game it was micro machines for the mega drive!) so hunting around I’ve now signed up to the £10 package on LOVEFiLM (currently on the 14 day trial) to see how it works. the bet part is I can have films as well in that package but the downside is I’m limited to 2 discs at once and 4 per month, which is fine for games (£15 for 2 at once but unlimited).

Now will LoveFiLM be any good for games? well i’ll find out within the next 14 days

I’m also running the 21 day trial boomerang as well which seems a lot better presented but its smallest package (that’s worth while)
